KAT-TUN CD debut was in 2006. In the previous year 2005, Kamenashi together with his member at the time, Akanishi Jin, acted in drama Gokusen (on NTV), and achieved a big break.

Then in 2006, 5 years after forming the group, he had the longed for CD debut. The offer for him as an actor also came one after another. Before he knew it, he became a person who thinks “It’s natural for people/staffs around me to care about/take care of me.” Probably Kamenashi at that time became a braggart a little bit. *like he thinks he’s a big shot*

Then a chance to co-star with Kimura in a drama “MR.BRAIN” (on TBS) in 2009 changed him to a large extent.

“When the co-starring was decided, the one who sent an e-mail first was Kimura-san saying 『Because (the contact) doesn’t come from your side, then yoroshiku *thank you in advance* from me.』. Looking from Kamenashi’s side, with his thoughtfulness he couldn’t bring himself to send a mail to the person he admired. Therefore, receiving a mail from Kimura-san’s side, his tension became loose. He realized that he must learn from such a person like Kimura-san, as a Johnny’s Jimusho senpai and a leading actor of the drama, who’s always concerned about other people.” (Entertainment people concerned)

Since then, at any location Kamenashi never failed to show consideration towards staffs. His appreciation of professionalism also became higher.
